He pin points the best hotels in your price point and gives you excellent tips and descriptions. The information on transportation alone is worth the price of his guidebooks. You can find out step by step how to get to and from the airport and train stations by Metro, bus, or taxi. We have been to Paris 4 times and yet each time we go we buy the current Rick Steves book for the most up to date and accurate information on all the places we want to visit. No matter where in Europe we are traveling we often ask each other "what does Rick say?". We travel independently but his books are full of information that would be useful for those traveling with a tour group and having limited free time and wanting to make the most of it. Having this book on my Kindle is wonderful since I no longer have to tear out the info I need for the day - I can just tuck my Kindle in my purse and all of Paris is right there! Going to Paris?
