I used the Kindle edition for our recent trip to Paris and was very pleased with the level of detail on the various locations.
The information provided very easily can replace a tour guide. In fact, we found that we preferred wandering the Louvre with a copy of this book, to following the Louvre's tour guide. And, the book actually provided better information. For instance, the Louvre's tour completely avoided the exhibits from Mesopotamia.
At Versailles, we also chanced upon another family doing the Rick Steves read-aloud!
Overall, this book was an excellent resource for the planning and execution of our trip. (For instance, the idea on buying a 10-ticket carnet for the subway was a great time-saver.)
This product is everything that I hoped it would be and more. I have a Samsung Galaxy 3 phone so having this tablet is great because it's just like my phone. It's very user friendly and I love being able to have everything match my phone. The apps it has too is great! I couldn't be any happier. Definatly worth all the money!
I love my new Garmin. This is an upgrade from the Garmin Nuvi 255W I had for approx. four years. The only reason I got the upgrade is because my old one didn't have map upgrades. Unlike my old Garmin this one has map upgrades and the screen is larger which I like a lot. Garmin Nuvi 50LM is very easy to figure out for those who aren't tech-friendly, even without reading instructions. Thanks!
